Top Tips

... Improving radiators RADIATORS should be painted when they're not in use, so now's the perfect time. You should only paint radiators when they're turned off and cold. Sand any paint runs and other imperfections on the radiator, scrub it with sugar-soap solution, then wash it off with clean water. Use a radiator primer if necessary. Most metal paints can be used on radiators, but heatproof radiator paint is best because it's designed not to discolour. Standard white metal paint will yellow over time if used on radiators, due to the heat. Try Ronseal One Coat Radiator paint, from pounds 7.98 for 250ml, for a white gloss finish (no primer needed) and Hammerite Quick Dry Radiator Paint, from pounds 9.99 for 500ml, for a white satin one, which both work well and dry relatively quickly.

The Prince of Wales Hospital is a major public and teaching hospital located in Sha Tin, New Territories in Hong Kong. The hospital is affiliated with the Medical Faculty of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Named after and officially opened by Charles, Prince of Wales in 1984, the Prince of Wales Hospital proudly provides its community with comprehensive quality healthcare. It is also the regional hospital responsible for the Eastern New Territories serving Shatin, Tai Po, North New Territories, Sai Kung and the outlying islands in East New Territories. When it comes to heating there are plenty of options to choose from. Dimplex storage heaters are an economical way to heat the home as they are warmed through the night when electricity is cheaper and release the heat slowly during the day to warm the home. This works very well to heat the home whilst saving money. Designer radiators are a good choice for anyone wanting a unique style or a radiator that fits in well with the rest of the decor in the room. Water filled radiators, oil filled radiators and electric varieties are all available. Budget, requirements and personal style will all play a role in which type and model you buy for your home.Radiator paint is available as both conventional and spray paint. Sprays are a good idea because they dry quickly and make getting a good finish relatively easy, as long as you avoid patchy spraying. They're also good for touching up radiators, providing the colour's the same. However, spray paint is messier than conventional paint and you could easily get through quite a few cans, which would be expensive. When using spray paint, take full safety precautions, including opening the window for ventilation, wearing a respirator mask and masking off the area around the radiator. If you need to touch up the wall afterwards, a radiator roller enables you to get behind it. Try Dulux's Easy Reach Mini Roller, pounds 6.19.About Sensus Healthcare:(Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20110124/FL34943LOGO)

SEASONAL TASK We've had some torrential rain recently, which can cause damp, especially if your roof isn't up to scratch. If you notice damp patches on your home's ceilings or at the top of walls, get the roof looked at and then use damp seal paint to cover the patches before repainting.
