AIS unveils new line of ruggedised products

Computing remedies supplier American Industrial Programs Inc (AIS) introduced on Tuesday a new line of rugged flat panel LCD shows, tablet PCs and PDAs for military and marine apps.


The firm has launched a twenty.1" UXGA 1600x1200 ruggedised flat panel exhibit that meets MIL-STD-810G environmental engineering expectations and MIL-461F EMI/EMC compliance for intense problems, this includes mechanical shock, vibration, humidity, temperature and radiated emissions.


AIS's ruggedised marine flat panel LCD shows element DNV Certification, IEC60945 compliance for maritime navigation and radio-communication equipment, as very well as IACS-E10 classification for digital installations, enabling the shows to be deployed into marine bridges, machinery spaces, management rooms, pump rooms and open decks.


In addition, the company's military grade, ruggedised tablet desktop computer and PDA are light-weight and tough, meeting or exceeding rugged expectations outlined in MIL-STD-810F and MIL-STD-461 requirements for environmental engineering and EMI.
